Pucks n' Paws!

Ready, set, Rampage!! The last few years the local hockey team, the San Antonio Rampage, has teamed up with organizations, rescue groups, and pet companies to host Pucks n' Paws every March. San Antonio has one of the highest, if not the highest euthanasia rates in the country with stray and unwanted pets. It took a long time for the city to finally address it but now events like these try to raise awareness, raise money, and allow responsible dog owners have fun with their pets. There is an event called Hoops and Hounds with the women basket ball team the Silver Stars but its never in a set month and my human has never found out its date in time to attend it. Sadly as far as my human knows our NBA champions the Spurs haven't held such an event.
My human also thinks T-Bone, the Rampage mascot, is the coolest mascot EVER!!
She was so mad she wasn't able to get a picture with him for Pucks n' Paws night like these lucky dudes.

Christmas 2010

Christmas this year was very sad with Lucky gone. But my human's friend invited us to come to her family's house for Christmas Eve night. Us, that means me too!! Her younger brother has a birthday on Christmas Eve, so they open presents at midnight to celebrate his birthday and Christmas too. It was very cold that night so my human put booties on me and put my sweater on too. This was the first Christmas I had been to that wasn't at home. I was so excited with all the people and being in a new place my human didn't get any good photos, I was doing zoomies between all the attention. My human was feeling goofy so she wrapped me up in one of the ribbons from one of the gifts!

I was a very good dog and didn't mess with anything and waited very patience to get my present at the end of the night so I didn't drive everyone crazy with the squeaking!

I got my revenge though!

But it was a very good night and lifted some of our sadness.

But it seems my human's friend had the last laugh when it was time to go home....
